In a recent auction of Christie in 2015, Crimson Flames 15 carat Pigeon blood ruby is sold for record price of $18 million at $1.2 Million per Carat. Dubbed the Sunrise Ruby, weighed an astounding 25.59 carat ruby sold at a price of $30.3 million in Sotheby's Geneva in May 2015 holding the record price for the ruby.
